He is a lawyer from the University of Buenos Aires. He holds a master degree in Comparative Jurisprudence and a Master in Laws (Taxation) from the New York University. He has worked as an associate professor at the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington D.C., USA, where he taught graduate courses on international transactions and international finance law. He has frequently taken part in lectures and seminars on international financial law in the USA, Europe and Asia.
He has been Chief Counsel of the Legal Department of the International Finance Corporation (IFC). Currently he works as an external legal consultant for the corporation. During his work at IFC, he was in charge of different areas and projects, and participated in the negotiation and implementation of project finance and capital market transactions, as well as in the development and implementation of IFC’s operation policies in the Americas, Asia and Europe.
